Artworks Gallery in Park City

As a kid growing up in Salt Lake City we would go to Park City and see the shops on Main Street. As adults, we vacation there every year, as well. It’s a special place with nice restaurants and a fun area to walk around. So when my friend Susan called and asked if I wanted to be in a gallery on Main Street, my answer was, “uh,… yeah!”

Artworks Gallery had just been sold to her nephew and they were looking for some fresh artists. I sent my encaustic work to Susan in April (which is the slow month, ski season ending) and it was displayed on shelves and on the wall. I have since gone up and curated my work a couple of times and we’ve had some sales. They say that the winter/ski season is when it really picks up. I can’t wait.
